Meezan Bank, the Premier and largest Islamic bank of the country is pleased to announce a three-year comprehensive trainee program for students of ACCA with the aim to develop them into strategic leaders and forward-thinking professionals.Being the ACCA approved employer, the Program aims to develop trainees by enhancing their skill-set for different specialized functional areas such as Finance, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Audit, Risk, Operations, Retail Banking and others.
Job Responsibility:
• Conduct Shariah Audits of branches, credit hubs and other auditable units as per defined objectives, scope and standards
• Assist team lead in preparation of annual audit plan
• Prepare entity level planning documentation
• Draft final Shariah Audit reports
• Conduct meetings with the auditees independently
• Impart Islamic banking training to the Bank staff
• Any other official task assigned by Team Lead/Unit Head/ HOD
Skills & Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of Islamic Finance/ Banking, auditing, review of short and long-term financing documentation, knowledge of audit software, report drafting and analytical skills
